Lords Gifts are embracing their Cheshire roots this summer and working in partnership with The Cheshire Cheese Company and other local producers to create “The Perfect Cheshire Picnic Hamper.” 

With the Olympics and Diamond Jubilee coming up, there will be a focus on Great Britain and consequently Great British produce.  What better time to showcase some of the fantastic local produce Cheshire has to offer while helping to support the campaign to Save Cheshire Cheese!

The hamper will contain a fantastic range of cheeses, chutney, crackers, biscuits and chocolates all produced in Cheshire alongside two of our most popular wines, PiqueRoque Rose and Prosecco Castello. The hamper will be available to buy from The Cheshire Show and on our website. We will be introducing a new range of Cheshire Hampers and Gifts to our collection in the near future so keep checking our blog for more details.

Based in Middlewich, Cheshire, Lords Gifts is keen to show support for local businesses and charities whenever possible. When contacted by The NeuroMuscular Centre in Winsford, we were keen lend a helping hand along with notifying our customers of this great cause.  The NeuroMuscular centre provides physiotherapy, hydrotherapy and support to people with Muscular Dystrophy, a severe and debilitating muscle wasting disease.  The NMC needs to raise £750,000 every year to keep this vital service running.  They cover the entire Northwest and are completely unique, existing as the only centre of their kind in the UK

The NMC provides a range services and specialist advice for people with Muscular Dystrophy ranging from Physiotherapy, Training, Design and Print Services, support and Design and Print Services and Support and Advice all with the sole aim of improving the quality of life for adults and young people with Muscular Dystrophy

As a relatively small local charity, the centre relies on generous donations, trusts and raising money through events.  Their headline annual fundraising event is called “Gorgeous Grub at the Grosvenor” and is held at the superb Grosvenor Hotel in Chester. The event will be held on Saturday 10th March.  Each year, a celebrity chef designs a three course meal for the evening and personally attends the event to chat about the meal they have devised.  Tracey Childs hosts the evening and this year’s chef will be Olive Rowe who you will recognise from the BB2 programme “The Urban Chef” or Saturday Kitchen.  There will also be a charity auction where you can bid on various items and possibly win a hamper from Lords Gifts!
